Jocelyn is eager to get back to tutoring students in person. She is carefully monitoring and following the guidelines set forth by the governor and the CDC. In the meantime, she is offering summer tutoring via Zoom or through the mail. Please read on for details.
Individual tutoring (via Zoom): You may want private tutoring if your child needs specific, targeted support in a subject area (or areas). Jocelyn will customize her on-line tutoring to fit the specific needs of your child, while making the on-line work as lively and interactive as possible. Jocelyn recommends half-hour sessions for students entering grades K-4 and 45 minute or one hour sessions for students entering 5th grade or above.
Pricing: $25/ 30 minute session

Through-the-mail tutoring: Jocelyn has created a 4-week summer program that offers more generalized support to students entering grades K-6. This program also offers convenience to families, as it can be utilized for any 4 weeks over the summer that a family chooses. The program is interactive, as it engages students in completing work and activities that are related to a theme: Mission Summer Fun! Each week students are provided with practice work, activities, games, materials, and a recorded Zoom lesson that they can watch at their convenience. As the student completes the work for the week, they also complete a portion of the mission and become a step closer toward earning a small reward at the end of the 4 weeks to celebrate.
Pricing: $ 40/ week/student
Since 2013, Jocelyn has tutored students in one-on-one or small group settings. While licensed in Elementary Education (K-6), she regularly works with students in kindergarten through 8th grade. After learning about a student and their specific needs, Jocelyn works to craft a program that will precisely meet the needs of that child. Jocelyn has a lot of experience working with children with special needs and learning challenges and also has students for whom she teaches an enrichment program. She works with students that attend public schools, private schools, as well as students who are homeschooled.

A special note: Because of the coronavirus pandemic, families, students, and teachers everywhere are making adjustments to their student's/students' education.
